Although he was saved, it was not until his college years that he saw the need to take a personal stand for Christ and to strive to serve Him with his life. Larry received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering and relocated to Rochester, MN in 1984 to begin a career in engineering. Through training at Victory Baptist Church in Rochester and being challenged by other ministries such as Northland's Family Camp for many years, Larry's desire to serve the Lord in a more full-time ministry career developed. In the fall of 1997, he retired from his engineering career, believing that the Lord had called him into Christian education at the secondary level. While teaching math and science throughout the past ten years at Victory Christian Academy, the Lord has blessed and given fruit in the Larry's life and in the lives of those around him. Larry, his wife Linda, and their five children are excited about the opportunity of coming to Pioneer Christian School to serve the Lord and to work with the students, their families, and other faculty.

Linda Norris, 1st & 2nd grade

Linda was saved at the age of 16 while attending a winter retreat at Northland Camp and Conference Center. Under the preaching of God's Word and through the love of God in the lives of the counselors and staff at Northland, God's mercy and grace was revealed to her heart. She turned from her sin and trusted Christ as her personal Savior. During that time, she understood God's call to attend Northland Baptist Bible College in the fall of 1979.

Linda graduated from Northland in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education. Upon graduation, she moved to Rochester, MN to teach at Victory Christian Academy. After a short time in the area, God brought a godly young man to her church. Larry and Linda were married in June of 1985. After three years of teaching, she "retired" to be a stay at home mom for their five children. During those years, God provided students of all ages for tutoring opportunities as well as opportunities to substitute in various classrooms. Those years developed a strong love for teaching children, especially in the areas of reading and math. She has spent the last two years back in the classroom and has enjoyed watching the joy on her student's faces as they learn new things. Teaching and learning are both wonderful experiences. Linda is excited to be a part of Pioneer Christian School.
