Dan Raught, Pioneer Christian School Administrator
Mr. Raught has been involved in the Christian Education movement for over twenty-five years. After earning a Bachelor
of Science in Broadcast Engineering and a Master of Science in Educational Administration and Supervision, Mr. Raught
taught in both the elementary and secondary levels for many years. His diversified skills and experiences give him a
unique perspective on serving the students and parents of PCS. Mr. Raught has been involved not only in the educational
field but has also served as a Pastor of Family Ministries, a Youth Pastor and a Music Pastor.
When out of the office Mr. Raught can be seen as the bus driver, lighting technician for plays and programs, running
the official score clock for home games, and much more. Mr. Raught’s spare time is filled with: following the
Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles, playing golf, enjoying a good video, reading various books, spending time with his
family and visiting his Facebook page at least once a month.

Angela Aliff, Junior High and Secondary English
Mrs. Aliff has a passion for literature and considers almost any classic that she is currently reading to be her
favorite. This probably is one of the reasons she majored in English Education. She is presently working on a Master
of Arts degree in Literature. She attributes mission trips to Mexico, Tampico, and Monterrey to be life changing and
experiences that solidified her desire to serve the Lord with her life. Mrs. Aliff serves as the Junior High and
Secondary English instructor and as the Yearbook Advisor.
Besides traveling with her husband, Erik, Mrs. Aliff enjoys a good video game or two. Her expertise is with
Nintendo’s Super Mario 3 and Donkey Kong although she has now expanded her repertoire to include PC games, as well.

Erik Aliff, Junior High and Secondary History
Mr. Aliff came to PCS with a B.S in History. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Educational Leadership.
He serves as the 7th-12th grade History instructor, teaches Public Speaking and P.E. Mr. Aliff loves playing games in
his classroom that create social interaction and involve constructive thinking.
Mr. Aliff has spent the past few summers traveling with his wife, Angela, exploring parts of the country that they
have never seen. He also likes to spend some of his spare time reading various genres, including history and science
fiction.

Kelly Beeson, Junior High and Secondary Science
Mrs. Beeson came to PCS with a B.S. in Pre-medicine and a M.A. in Physiology. Her classroom experience spans
elementary to college levels. Mrs. Beeson loves to read and is a fan of most books written by Charles Dickens with
The Tale of Two Cites being her all time favorite.
After Mrs. Beeson trusted Christ, she visited her former Pastor on the mission field. She was baptized, along
with her sister and the pastor’s two sons in Columbia, South America. Mrs. Beeson and her husband, Rodney, love
working with the children in their local church. Mrs. Beeson currently works with the three to five year-olds in
junior church.

Jill Calverley, Office Personnel and Lunch Program
Mrs. Calverley is currently working on a degree in Elementary Education at Northland International University.
Her joyful and helpful spirit is appreciated at PCS in the School Office. Mrs. Calverley also serves as a Teacher’s
Aid for grades 1 thru 6, and as the school’s Lunch Coordinator.
Mrs. Calverley is very involved in her local church, helping with Wednesday night Kids’ Club and in the nursery.
She enjoyed being able to take her first missions trip to Mexico in the spring of 2009, and looks forward to the
opportunity to go again someday.
Mrs. Calverley takes the summers to spend time with her three children. They visit the local falls and lakes as
well as participating in Northland Camp activities.

Stefanie Goyak, Office Personnel
MMrs. Goyak graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration. She appreciates the opportunity to use these
skills in the office at PCS. Her heart for the students is what led her to switch to PCS after teaching for
several years at Northland International University. Mrs. Goyak also serves as the varsity basketball coach for
the Lady Falcons.
Mrs. Goyak is thankful for her husband, Antone, and 3 children. When not involved with her family and PCS, Mrs.
Goyak enjoys cooking and opening her home to family, friends, and guests.

Holly Martinez, 5th-12th Grade Spanish
Mrs. Martinez has taught high school math and science as well as 2nd and 3rd grades before coming to PCS. She
now teaches 5th-12th grade Spanish, with the goal of equipping students to serve the Lord abroad. Her family spent
seven years traveling in Mexico, taking church groups on mission trips, holding pastors’ conferences and helping
local national pastors.
Mrs. Martinez enjoys spending her summers taking her boys to the lake, camping and gardening.

Christina Miller, K-4th Grade Spanish
Say “!hola!” when you meet Mrs. Miller! Although an Interpretive Speech major in college, she spends her time at
PCS teaching Spanish. She currently oversees the K-4th grade Spanish classes @ PCS. Mrs. Miller also serves as a copy
editor for the Northland Publications Department.
Mrs. Miller has had the opportunity over the past year to develop and perform the dramatic presentation of Self
Undone: A Glimpse of Amy Carmichael. This opportunity has allowed Mrs. Miller to challenge others with the passion and
fervor of such an amazing servant of God.
At the close of the day, Mrs. Miller enjoys spending time with her husband, Jeff, and their three children, reading
books, eating out, drinking strong coffee and shopping.

Larry Norris, Junior High and Secondary Math
Mr. Norris graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. After 14 years as an Engineer at IBM, the Lord allowed him to
begin teaching math in a Christian school. The past 2 years at PCS brings his total to 12 years of teaching experience. Mr.
Norris is thankful for the opportunity to be part of the Northland family. As Mr. Norris commented... “What better opportunity
could there be for a ‘Life Touching Life’ than in a Christian school classroom”. One of the ways that Mr. Norris keeps up with
his students’ lives is through Facebook.

Linda Norris, 1st & 2nd grade
Mrs. Norris has been involved in education for twenty years. She has served both in a traditional classroom setting and in
a home-tutoring business for elementary students. Besides being a wife and the mother of five children, Mrs. Norris enjoys
sewing, scrapbooking, and reading. In the summer, she enjoys having extra time to enhance one or two areas of her classroom
curriculum, getting re-organized and ready for the upcoming school year.

Joy Pacyna, Kindergarten
Mrs. Pacyna graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and enjoys the kindergarteners at PCS. Mrs. Pacyna also teaches
K-2nd grade music. Mrs. Pacyna is thankful for the opportunities to serve in the community as well. These include teaching
Sunday School, weekly visitation, special music, and small group studies within her local church.
Mrs. Pacyna spends her summers assisting in the offices of the Wisconsin Association of Christian Schools on the Northland
campus. She also loves the beautiful summers here in Wisconsin. She especially enjoys hiking around the nearby waterfalls
with her husband, Joel.

Beverly Priest, 3rd & 4th grade
PCS is excited to be able to welcome Mrs. Beverly Priest to our staff as our new 3rd - 4th grade teacher. We are very
privileged to have a teacher of her caliber and experience. She has taught primarily 4th and 5th grades for many years. She
has served as an education professor at Piedmont Baptist College and Clearwater Christian College. For the last 21 years she
has taught 4th grade at Inter-City Baptist School in Allen Park, Michigan. She, along with her husband, authored the ABC Bible
Memory Book for Pre-schoolers.
We look forward to how the Lord is going to use Mrs. Priest here at PCS this coming school year.

Brenda Raught, 5th & 6th grade
Having grown up as a missionary, pastor’s, and faculty child on a college campus, Mrs. Raught finds the opportunity to work
with the students at PCS not only a privilege, but also a ministry very close to her heart. Mrs. Raught has been in the
educational field for over 20 years. Her experience includes not only class room teaching but also teaching in the areas of
music and drama. She also is currently certified as a therapist to work with special needs children.
Mrs. Raught enjoys using small groups and projects in the classroom to get the students thinking and engaged kinesthetically.
So how does she spend her spare time? "I love a good book..."

Haiti Relief Fund - 2/5/2010 I am pleased to report that the Lord used our students to raise $138 towards this effort. Praise the Lord! The funds will be channeled through the American Association of Christian Schools and Crossworld Missions.
